Education and Credentials
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (a real-deal food and nutrition expert) with extensive training in nutrition and wellness and a background in clinical dietetics.
As a Food and Nutrition Expert, I translate scientific nutrition information into practical health advice
I completed my undergraduate degree at Samford University in Nutrition & Dietetics, an intensive dietetic internship through Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and graduate courses in Human Nutrition through the University of Alabama.
Nutrition science fascinates me! The wonder and intricacy of our bodies are a glorious reflection of Christ’s beauty and his care for us in the deeply personal aspects of our lives.
I specialized as a pediatric clinical dietitian at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee before my four “Little Farmers” were born. I loved every minute of patient and family interaction — especially working with patients who had challenging health conditions.
I am pursuing further education and training in the field of Integrative and Functional Nutrition to help you get to the root cause of your health concerns and to build lasting health… naturally!
I started my private nutrition therapy practice in 2016. I am honored and humbled to serve women and their families through a ministry of nurturing and caring for their body as well as their souls.
As a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT) I am trained in using LEAP diet therapy. I can help you apply the results of the MRT (Mediator Release Test), to help you solve your food sensitivity puzzle with a personalized anti-inflammatory diet. (The MRT test is the gold standard for food sensitivity testing! Read more about it here.)
I enjoy teaching others about nutrition and wholesome living and look forward to helping you become equipped and confident to make sustainable changes for a wholesome lifestyle.
