A LEAP Friendly Community
It can feel a little lonely when no one understands that you can’t just have a “cheat day” or just “take one little bite” of that new recipe that Aunt Sally made for Thanksgiving. No one should have to take the “LEAP” alone!
In the LEAP Friendly Kitchen we come together as an (online) community around a common purpose — we want our bodies to heal and we are willing to do whatever it takes for that to happen! We understand where you are and what you are going through!

The story behind The LEAP Friendly Kitchen
Bethany Thomson, head chef here at The LEAP Friendly Kitchen, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist at Ingrained Nutrition Therapy, her private functional nutrition practice based in the Nashville, TN area. She has been amazed to see the power of food-as-medicine for auto-immune conditions, Hashimoto’s, crazy digestive issues, eczema, migraines, fatigue, anxiety, and more!
Because she is crazy about the power of LEAP, Bethany started her husband, all 4 of her children, and herself on LEAP at just about the same time. Bethany has a family of taste testers for her LEAP friendly recipes (including 4 children who love getting into the kitchen with her to create their own LEAP friendly fun… and a few crumbs to go with it!)
Bethany also loves inviting family and friends into her kitchen to share a meal. (When your friends who aren’t on LEAP beg you for your recipe then you know it’s a winner!)
