The story of how Ingrained Living grew into a sanctuary of rest and renewal.
The Beginning
Ingrained Living took root in 2016—first as a private functional nutrition therapy practice supporting women with autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances, chronic pain, fatigue, and digestive struggles.
In a world full of confusion and restriction, I offered something gentler: clarity, nourishment, and answers no one else had helped them find.
Over time, it blossomed into something more—a sanctuary of healing for the whole woman: body, mind, and spirit.
The Turning Point
But it wasn’t until we moved our family of seven to the Farm at Rivendell—after a sacred pause to tend to my own deeper healing and the deep needs of our family—that Ingrained Living became what it was always meant to be.
Tucked away in the rolling hills of Tennessee, this sacred place—with its tree-lined paths, cozy fireplaces, stone walkways, and tranquil stillness—became more than just our home.
The Place
It became a living sanctuary.
A place of embodiment, belonging, and deep restoration—both for us and for the women I now serve.
You’ll find elements of Rivendell sprinkled throughout Ingrained Living—in the photographs that capture early dawn light through the trees or blazing sunsets across the fields…
in the original watercolor artwork I create from my little studio corner…
and in the healing that inspires my written and spoken reflections.
Every element is a reflection of the beauty I’ve been entrusted with here—and a glimpse of the sacred rest I long to share with others.
The Invitation
Whether we meet together in person or online, every part of Ingrained Living is woven with the same heart:
to offer rest, restoration, and a place to come home—to yourself, and to the One who created you with love.
