Many women arrive here carrying more than symptoms.

They’ve spent years pushing through exhaustion, caring for others, minimizing their own needs, or trying to hold everything together.

Often, what helps most at first isn’t a structured plan, but finally having space to slow down, feel heard, and look at the full picture with someone who listens carefully and without shame.

Healing begins with listening.

Many women say this is the first time someone has truly listened to
the full picture of their health and story.

Not rushed.
Not dismissed.
Not reduced to a list of symptoms.

Sometimes the first step toward healing is finally having a safe space to slow down, talk honestly about what’s been hard, and look at the full picture with someone willing to listen carefully.

Together, we explore not only symptoms and nutrition, but also the real-life stress, exhaustion, caregiving demands, and patterns that may have made caring for yourself feel difficult for a long time.

Over time, many women begin reconnecting with their own bodies too—learning to notice hunger, stress, fatigue, rhythms, and needs with greater compassion and awareness instead of shame or pressure.

That’s part of the care here.

Stories of Hope and Healing

Real words from women who found clarity, support, and hope through Ingrained Living.

At Ingrained Living, I’ve walked alongside women who were exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves in ways they could hardly explain. And over time, many experienced something deeper than symptom relief.

Meet Bethany

Hello, I’m Bethany—a registered dietitian nutritionist with a functional medicine perspective and a compassionate, faith-rooted approach to health and healing.

Prior to launching my private practice in 2016, I spent years working in clinical nutrition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Since then, I have pursued advanced training in functional nutrition, food sensitivity work, coaching, and soul care so I can continue serving women and families with greater depth and compassion.

I care deeply about you as the woman behind your symptoms—your story, stress, rhythms, caregiving load, and the quiet exhaustion you may have carried for far too long.

As a wife, mother of five, and caregiver myself, I understand how easy it is for women to spend years caring for everyone else while losing connection with their own bodies and needs.

Like many of the women I serve, I’m walking the midlife journey too—learning to care for my body with greater gentleness and attunement instead of simply pushing harder.

I’m also a woman who has walked the long, tender road of healing—a creative at heart and a lover of natural beauty, timeless stories, long walks, and hot tea

The artwork and photography woven throughout this space were created during meaningful seasons of reflection and healing here on our Tennessee farm and reflect the heart behind Ingrained Living—a quiet haven shaped by beauty, nourishment, rest, and hope.

I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk beside you as you learn to care for yourself with compassion and move toward greater wholeness—body and soul.

Come, shall we begin?
